Accessibility Statement

Chris Brandenburg Real Estate wants everyone, including people with disabilities, to be able to browse Park City homes, learn about our communities, and get in touch with Chris. We are working to make parkcityhomebuyer.com easier to use for all visitors.

Our goal

We use the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA as our guide. This website has not been independently audited or certified, and we do not claim that it fully conforms to WCAG or any other standard. Accessibility is an ongoing effort, and we review and improve the site as we go.

What we have done

• A “skip to main content” link and one clear main area on every page.
• Visible focus outlines so the site can be used with a keyboard.
• Text colors chosen to meet the WCAG AA contrast ratio of 4.5:1 on our light backgrounds.
• Text descriptions for meaningful images and labels for search filters and form fields.
• Pop-up forms that can be closed with the Escape key and keep keyboard focus inside while open.
• Forms that only confirm a request after it has actually been received, and show an error otherwise.

Known limitations

• The interactive property map is built on Google Maps, and moving between individual map pins with a keyboard or screen reader is limited. The full-screen map opens as a dialog: focus moves into it, stays inside it, Escape closes it, and a “View listing results” button returns you to the list. Every listing shown on the map, with its price, address, details and link, is also in the listing results, which come before the map and can be filtered by area, price, beds, baths and property type. A “Skip filters and map, go to listing results” link is available to keyboard users. The map’s “Search this area” feature has no exact list equivalent; please use the neighborhood filter instead.
• Listing details and photos are supplied by the Park City Board of REALTORS® MLS. Where the listing agent has written a caption for a photo, we use it as the photo’s description. Most MLS photos have no caption, so they are described by address and photo number only. We do not guess what a photo shows.
• Linked third-party sites (for example, maps and news sources) are outside our control.
